Because of how NG+ scales level you will have to quickly replace any armour and weapons you bring over anyways. I think Witcher gear should scale to your level in NG+ I'm level 51 right now, but if I go into NG+ I will be over leveled for the Griffin, Feline and Ursine, and even enhanced Griffin, which is just dumb.
